In the far future, there is a war being fought for the future of the human race. We may have colonized the stars under the benevolent guidance of the Terran Authority, but the discovery of a long vanished alien civilization has brought rise to the insidious Kult. An insane movement that believe this decadent extinct race should be worshipped at all costs.

It's a big galaxy out there, but whatever you do, rest assured that someone will be watching.

About Rough Landing

Jenny Kyle upon being drafted has been sent out to a planet that she doesn't even know the name of to fight against the Kult as part of the Interstellar Guard

When her orbital lander is shot down well outside of where it should have been leaving Jenny as the only survivor of her unit it's going to take her wits, strength, and all of her two weeks of combat training to not fall prey to the dangers and temptations that await her. 


Rough Landing is the first RAGS game I've made and in someways it does still show. I was heavily inspired by Morbo's The Magic Portal along with TinaB's Ring Of Power at the time.

It's very much in the mold of the classic MC game built in RAGS formula perhaps best defined by The Girly Gauntlet.

There are a few new spins on the formula including an achievement system and three main paths that track the player's character.

If you're looking for some Losing is Fun, tons and tons of Mind Control, a fair bit of sex in the science fiction genre including alien hybrids, cyborgs, and A.I, a reasonable amount of re-playability to get everything and a whole bunch of setting up of the far superior sequel, then Rough Landing just might be the game for you.
